Triton II Fire Detection Panel - 002

A traditional shipboard zone-based fire detection system will only indicate a general response. Sea-Fires state-of-the-art Triton 2 addressable fire detection panel will pinpoint the exact location and type of incident, be it smoke, fire or a detector fault. This provides the crew of megayachts and medium to large commercial vessels the critical information needed for a fast response. The 24 VDC Triton 2 will drive up to 252 addressable devices over two integrated loops. With the optional expansion module and up to three repeater panels, the panel will control the network of up to eight fire detection units over 16 loops for a total of 2,016 devices. Easily programmed using a PC or the back-lighted interface, the Triton 2 integrates with external equipment such as asset management and voyage data recorders, alarms and public address systems. It supports Apollo addressable detectors and accessories. The innovative panel will operate within a broad range of temperatures, from 5 up to 70 C. It features an integrated automatic electrical supply crossover to provide security during power interruptions. The surface mounted panel measures 170mm L x 168mm W x 58mm D and can be set to English, French or Spanish. Ideal for IMO applications, the system is EU Marine Equipment Directive (MED) wheelmark approved.Contact Maritime Fire Safety Ltd.

FAQs, Approvals, Etc
Automatic “A” and Manual/Automatic “M” (USCG approved) SEA-FIRE NovecTM 1230 NFD & NFG Fire Suppression Systems are designed to protect enclosed compartments. All NFD & NFG systems operate automatically through heat activation. Discharge will occur when the sensor valve temperature rises to the system activation range as shown on the specification label attached to each unit. Units with a “M” designation provide for a manual release capability as well. NFD & NFG systems are designed to induce a minimum atmospheric concentration of 5.85% within the protected compartment. Each system is equipped with a factory installed pressure switch which is intended for cylinder pressure supervision and may also be used to control other electrical functions (engine shutdown, air exchange equipment i.e fans & blowers, etc).
